     Laurindo Almeida. Musician with the worldwide fame, one of the most famous guitarists of our days.
He was born on the 2d September 1997 in Brazilian town San-Paulo. He connected his life with the guitar becoming proficient in the playing technique at this complicated instrument. 1944 Laurindo Almeida is one of the most well-known      Brazil musicians, his talent and mastery is admired by the representatives of different music directions.
Almeida is father of bossa nova because one of the first he combined Brazil rhythms with jazz and as a result appeared this style. He is often compared with the famous Spain guitarist Andres Segovia, Almeida knew him and respected his skill. Musical outlook of Almeida is very broad.
     In one of the interviews he said: My musical tastes rang from Renaissance through all the periods first of all through the periods of classicism and romanticism up to the modern music. Creative work of L. Almeida, guitarist, arranger is marked by outstanding talent and real great innovation.
