Vladimir Vladimirovich Tervo (born 1957) - Russia's guitarist. Born in the city of Novokuznetsk (Kuzbass, Kemerovo region). He began to study guitar at the self-taught guitarist Nikolai Fedorovich Fomin in Novokuznetsk. According to Vladimir Tervo is NF Fomin introduced him to the world of guitar. Vladimir was in high school (at the time he was 11 years old), when a man came to him and said that he was working at a music school and is looking for students. "He was with a guitar, an instrument he picked up, played some kind of play, and I fell in love with the guitar. Had this not happened, I would not be a musician". V. Tervo finished music school Gnesins the teacher Victor A. Erzunova, Moscow State Institute of Culture (Class AY Alexandrova) and the Ural Conservatory in absentia on guitar (1992, class of Associate Professor VM Derun). Among his musical tastes IS Bach, early music - XVII - XVIII centuries, the Renaissance, the Baroque. Also performs works by contemporary composers Igor Rehinoj (24 Preludes and Fugues), Herman Japaridze, etc.
He has participated in several competitions performers. Won the third prize of the All-Russian competition of folk music in Tula in 1986 (together with A.Bardinoy), Havana (1986) and Barcelona (1989). Tour with concerts began at the age of 20 years (first with balalaika player Oleg Gitlin), performed throughout Russia and abroad (Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Spain, Czechoslovakia, Germany, Cuba). Currently working in one of the music schools of Stuttgart (Germany).
